ART 3243 Graphic Communication I
(3 hours) Quad One
Introduction to graphic design as a medium of communication. Promotes appreciation of visual tools and principles that lead to exploration and personal methodology. Techniques of pre-print production, with the use of typography, photography, and illustration. Students are taught the effectiveness of visual communication and its practices in the professional world today. Prerequisite: Either ART 2063 or ART 3443 . Students in the graphic design emphasis are encouraged to take ART 3443 concurrently.
