ME 6373 Computer-Aided Manufacturing and Prototyping(3 hours)
Computer-aided manufacturing accomplished using tools such as computer-aided design software packages including systems for computer-aided drafting, solid modeling, finite element analysis, rapid additive manufacturing and CNC machining. The class culminates in a design project including fabrication of a physical prototype (Additive and Subtractive) generated with numerically controlled machines.
