ME 6463 Introduction to Robotics

(3 hours)
An introductory course in the basic mechanics and operation and current issues in robotic system. Reference frames, forward, inverse, and velocity kinematics, programming in the C++ language. Current issues such as parallel robots, grasping and manipulation, robot walking, and soft robots. Hands-on exercises with programming, final term paper.
