DNPC 9534 Transition to AG-ACNP III

(4 hours)
Prepares the APRN for transition to AG-ACNP practice in providing care for the complex pathophysiology, assessment, diagnosis, and management of adults and older adults experiencing acute effects related to behavioral and cognitive health, altered musculoskeletal health, gastrointestinal, multisystem and related acute and critical illness. Emphasis is placed on inter-professional collaboration in management. Students demonstrate the understanding of the complex pathophysiology, assessment, diagnosis, and collaborative management of complex alterations in health requiring acute and critical care. The course also focuses on the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP role in risk assessment and health promotion.
