NSG 7523 Healthcare Informatics II

(3 hours)
Further examine the role of data and data management in health care and clinical decision making. Computerized clinical management systems and decision support databases will be further discussed. Students will explore the use of data driven outcomes. Students will demonstrate information fluency and advanced communication skills to lead quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care. Prerequisite: NSG 7513 .
