NSG 7123 Research and Evidence Based Practice

(3 hours)
Emphasizes the application of basic research concepts to the building of evidence-based practice in nursing. Advanced competencies are developed in exploring and evaluating the literature, examining the merit of different types and levels of evidence, and analyzing the generalizability and implications for clinical practice. This course is intentionally designed for all MSN Students; however, each student will be encouraged to view the course learning outcomes through their specific track lenses: Leadership and Innovation, Education, Public Health, or Informatics and Analytics.
