NSG 7113 Advanced Theoretical Frameworks of Nursing

(3 hours)
A thoughtful analysis of nursing trends, related theories and relevant concepts which guide clinical practice and research specifically in the areas of nursing leadership and innovation, education, public health, and healthcare informatics/analytics. Legal and ethical concerns will be addressed. Students will identify a focus area which will set a foundation, built upon through specialization courses, which will showcase via dissemination in their impactful capstone project. This course is intentionally designed for all MSN Students; however, each student will be encouraged to view the course learning outcomes through their specific track lenses: 1) Leadership and Innovation, 2) Education, 3) Public Health, or 4) Informatics and Analytics.
