ATRG 3123 Teaching and Coaching Individual Sports

Emphasis of this course will be on the development of the teaching competencies necessary for implementation of effective instruction of individual and dual sports. Specific pedagogical skills that are critical to the a) development of a safe and positive learning environment, b) progressive development of psychomotor skills, and c) development of cognitive application skills related to successful performance in individual and dual sports. These skills will be application skills related to successful performance in individual and dual sports. Prerequisites Sophomore standing, ATRG 2033 or ATRG 2053
