Emergency Care in Athletic Training is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage emergencies commonly encountered in the field of athletic training. This course will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to, initial assessment and triage, emergency action planning, CPR and AED use, basic life support techniques, injury assessment, and immediate care for various medical conditions and traumatic injuries commonly seen in athletic settings. Prerequisite: Acceptance into MAT program.
