General history, philosophy, and theories of art education. Topics include professional standards, creativity, aesthetic theory, art criticism, and growth and development of image making from Pre-K through young adult. Principles and practices of art instruction in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. Using Oklahoma Academic Standards for curriculum construction, implementation and
assessment of art lessons that address content areas of art production, art history, art appreciation, and art criticism.
