BIOL 4243 Mechanisms of Animal Development

(3 hours)

Analysis of mechanisms of differentiation and development in several model animal systems. Emphasis on the genetic contribution to the developmental program, cell:cell interactions and environmental factors that influence development. Prerequisites: BIOL 1603 , BIOL 1611 , BIOL 1703 , BIOL 1711 , BIOL 2123 and BIOL 2121 .
