BIOL 4213 Environmental Ethics and Conservation

(3 hours)

Students explore their own ethical positions and the basis for such positions. Through individual writing and a team presentation, students focus on current environmental ethical questions, including the concept of a “land ethic,” and learn to think ethically and critically about issues. Prerequisites: BIOL 1603 , BIOL 1611 , BIOL 1703 , BIOL 1711 , BIOL 2123 and BIOL 2121 .
