ME 7133 Turbulent Flow

(3 hours)
Analysis of turbulent transport of momentum and heat. Linear stability theory, the Reynolds equations, dynamics of turbulence, boundary-free and wall-bounded shear flows, and turbulent boundary layer. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
