BIOL 4643 Bioinformatics

(3 hours)

Introduction to computational methodologies and concepts in bioinformatics. Topics: introductory molecular genetics, statistics and statistical learning methods, sequence alignment, phylogenetics, gene expression analysis, genome-wide association studies, structural informatics, immunoinformatics, and neuroinformatics. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Same as CS 4643 .
