AHS 4113 Health Management Techniques (3 hours) Presentation of the major theories, concepts, and practices of traditional organizational systems applied to the business and management of complex healthcare systems. Students will participate in a teaching-learning process through case study analysis, presentation, and discussions, which will help them understand that health care leaders must effectively design and administer health care organizations while simultaneously managing and adapting to changes in both a macro- and micro-environmental context. Prerequisites: ENGL 1033 and BUS 1013 with grades of C or higher.
