CYB 3363 Data Security and Cryptography


3 hours
Fundamentals and applications of cryptography, including symmetric, asymmetric, and cryptographic hash functions. Block and stream ciphers, digital signatures, and key management. Introduction to security protocols and crptanalysis. Data lifecycle, storage, governance, and security. Prerequisites: CYB 2004  and CS 3073 /CYB 3073  with grades of C or higher.
