PSY 5653 Job Analysis and Performance Appraisal 3 hours Job analysis as a foundation for test development, selection, performance appraisal, training, compensation and job design. The course examines the processes through which job requirements are researched and identified as the basis for developing job tasks and relevant knowledge, abilities, and skills. Theoretical and practical issues in the areas of performance appraisal system design and implementation, performance measurement, criterion theory, and coaching and development are among other topics that are also examined. Prerequisite: PSY 5623 , GPA of at least 3.5 in psychology courses, and permission of instructor.
