PE 4643 Produced Water Management


(3 hours)
Theory and conceptual design of systems for treating wastewater. Physical, chemical, and biological processes including sedimentation, filtration, biological treatment, and sludge processing. Treatment of produced water, and water quality requirements for re-injection and surface disposal. Induced seismicity and assessment of induced-seismicity hazard. Prerequisite: PE 3023 .
