WS 3033 Masculinities (3 hours) Analysis of historical, sociological, literary, and popular cultural constructions of masculinity with an emphasis on the U.S. Readings in masculinity theory are paired with a variety of classic and contemporary sources, with attention paid to the intersectionality of race, religion, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and social class.
