DNPC 9334 Advanced Practice in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care IV (Acute Mental Health/Trauma/Critical Care Continuum)(4 hours) Explores the complex pathophysiology, assessment, diagnosis, and management of adults and older adults experiencing acute mental health disorders, trauma/musculoskeletal injuries, and patients on the critical care continuum. Emphasis is placed on inter-professional collaboration in management. Students demonstrate the understanding of the complex pathophysiology, assessment, diagnosis, and collaborative management of complex alterations in health requiring acute and critical care via case studies, advanced simulation, and exams.
