MJEL 6023 Basic Oil and Gas Law

Introduction to real property concepts in oil and gas law and the legal characteristics of a severed mineral estate and a severed surface estate, the creation of separate estates and interest in minerals, the granting of oil and gas leases, and the continuing legal relationship under an oil and gas lease.
