THEA 3072 Choreography I


(2 hours)
Introduction to the principles of choreography, with a focus on generating new movement and developing solo material. Improvisation and composition exercises investigate space, time, dynamics, form and structure. Students will explore various sources for inspiration, evaluate their creative process, and complete several choreographic assignments. Prerequisite: THEA 2111  or THEA 2211  or THEA 2401  with a grade of C or higher, or permission of instructor.
