DNPC 9334 Advanced Practice in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care IV(4 hours) Explores the complex pathophysiology, assessment, diagnosis, and management of adults and older adults experiencing musculoskeletal, traumatic injury, burns, shock, and related acute and critical illness. Emphasis is placed on inter-professional collaboration in management. Students demonstrate the understanding of the complex pathophysiology, assessment, diagnosis, and collaborative management of complex alterations in health requiring acute and critical care via case studies, advanced simulation, and exams.
