STAT 4813 Statistical Methods for Scientists and Engineers

(3 hours)
(alternative to QM 7023 ) Introduction to probability, random variables and distributions. Statistical inference including point and interval estimation and test of hypotheses. Elementary experimental design. Regression. Correlation. Prerequisite: MATH 2024.
