ES 4763 Robotics Projects
(3 hours)
Introductory course in which students participate in the design, component construction, assembly, and programming of a FIRST-class robot applying engineering design and project management concepts to produce a working robot capable of participating in FIRST robotics competitions under a very tight six-week schedule. At competitions, students participate as support engineers for the FIRST team. At the end of competition time, students propose robot designs that incorporate features from other robots in the competition. Prerequisites: Either ME 3063 , or EE 2003 and CS 2163 /EE 2163 , or CS 2123 .
