AHS 2013 Statistics for the Health Sciences


(3 hours)
Basic descriptive and inferential statistical procedures with emphasis on their application in applied health settings: frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersion, simple regression, correlation, and hypothesis testing. Prerequisites: MATH 1093  and MIS 1001  with grades of D or higher, or permission of instructor.
