ECON 3153 Health Economics


(3 hours)


An application of basic economic principles to the choices and actions of consumers, physicians, hospitals, insurance companies, state government and the federal government in America’s health care sector. This course also reviews and contrasts America’s system with the universal coverage systems of other developed countries. Prerequisite: ECON 2023  with a grade of D or higher.
