Non-thesis option leading to the Master of Engineering degree


Minimum total hours (30 hours)


Required credit hours of Master’s Project (3 hours)


The remainder of the coursework must meet the following requirements


  • Maximum of 9 credit hours at approved 6000 level
  • Maximum of 3 credit hours of independent study
  • Maximum of 9 credit hours outside of major department

Note(s):


Students choosing the non-thesis option are required to choose an advisor before the end of their first semester of residence. The advisor supervises the Master’s Project and determines the final acceptability of the project before the degree is conferred.
