Computer Science (42 hours)

Math/Statistics (10-11 hours)

MATH 2014 Calculus I
and one of the following sequences:
- MATH 2024 Calculus II and STAT 4813 Statistical Methods for Scientists and Engineers (STEM)
or
- QM 2013 Statistics I and QM 2023 Statistics II (Business)

STEM/Business Electives (9 hours)

One of the following sets of electives:

STEM Electives

MATH 4123 Linear Algebra and Matrix Theory
Six hours of math, science, or engineering science electives selected with approval of advisor

Business Electives

ACCT 2113 Concepts in Accounting Information I
ACCT 2123 Concepts in Accounting Information II
Three hours of electives at the 3000-level or above selected from ACCT, IB, FIN, MGT, MKTG, or QM courses, with approval of advisor

Electives (16-20 hours)

Selected with approval of advisor. May include MATH 1163 Pre-calculus Mathematics as necessary.

English (6 hours)

Humanities and Social Sciences Electives (25 hours)

Six hours of Tulsa Curriculum Block I electives
Twelve hours of Tulsa Curriculum Block II electives including ECON 2013 , ECON 2023 and ES 2073
Seven hours of Tulsa Curriculum Block III electives which may include PHYS 2051 , PHYS 2053 and PHYS 2063

Information Technology Option (12-15 hours)

Information Technology Options

Students seeking the Bachelors of Science in Information Technology degree must complete one of the following degree options:

General Option (12 hours)

CS 3073 Introduction to Cyber Security
Nine hours of CS electives at the 3000-level or above selected with approval of advisor. Up to 3 hours of CIS coursework at the 4000-level may be substituted.

Cyber Security Option (15 hours)

CS 3073 Introduction to Cyber Security
CS 4153 Computer Security
CS 4333 Computer Networks
CS 4413 Secure Electronic Commerce
Three hour cyber security elective selected from the following with approval of advisor:
- CIS 4073 Information Security
- CS 4863 Special Topics in cyber security
- Up to three hours of CS 4991-3 Independent Study in cyber security
- A three-hour 5000-level course in cyber security

To become a candidate for a degree in information technology, a student must complete all computer science courses in the curriculum with a grade-point average of at least 2.0, and earn a grade point average of 2.0 or higher overall.
