LAW 6133 International Trade Law

(3 hours)
Focuses on World Trade Organization (WTO) law deriving from GATT, agreement establishing the WTO, and codes of coduct from trade negotiating rounds. Topics include most favored nation and national treatment obligations; tariff bindings; prohibition on quantitative restrictions; rules related to dumping and anti-dumping duties; principles governing subsidies and counterveiling duties; free trade areas and customs unions; and trade and environment.
