MJIL 6693 Basic Environmental Law

(3 hours)
A survey of major common law and statutory responses to environmental threats and certain statutes. A basic analysis of the nature of the problem and the potential responses within the practice of environmental law. Statutes, as interpreted in the courts, are examined as examples of how various strategies are implemented.
